A fixed cost that does not grow with your orders.
One monthly fee per site. A good Friday costs you nothing extra, because we do not take a cut of anything you sell.

Rolling monthly
No minimum term. Cancel whenever you like.
Launch pricing
The struck-through figure is the standard price. What you pay now is the launch price.
One-time setup, £30
We build your menu, connect your payments, set your hours and get you live. £30, once, and that is the only one-off charge apart from app publishing.
Extra branches are half price
Your first site is full price. Every branch after that costs half, on whichever billing period you pick.
App publishing
£149 one time, if you want the customer app on the App Store and Play Store. Both stores, one charge.
Order allowance
Starter includes 1,000 orders a month. Growth has no limit. Neither charges a fee per order.
Card processing
Charged by your own provider at their rates, directly to you. Tekeats takes nothing.
Prices exclude VAT
As you would expect for a business tool.
No VAT engine
You can add VAT as a named charge, but Tekeats does not calculate or break it out.
What a marketplace order really costs you.
Marketplaces are good at bringing you people who have never heard of you. What they are expensive at is the customer who already knows your name and orders every week. Every order through a marketplace loses a slice of the sale before it reaches you. A direct order does not.

Commission rates vary by platform, contract, order volume and country, and most are negotiated. Check your own agreement, then put your real numbers into the calculator.
Use your own numbers, not ours.
We are not going to tell you what you pay. Put in your own figures and see the difference on the orders you would move to direct ordering.
Fill in the three boxes and the sum appears here.
One honest caveat: most marketplace commission already includes card processing, and a Tekeats subscription does not. Your card provider bills you separately at their rates. This sum also ignores the one-time setup charge, and assumes you keep the same order volume when customers order direct.
Marketplace, build it yourself, or Tekeats.
Compared as models rather than as named products, because what actually differs is who owns the customer and who takes a cut.
| Marketplace | Build it yourself | Tekeats | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cut of every order | A share of every sale | None | None |
| Monthly cost | None | Hosting plus a developer | Fixed per site |
| Who owns the customer | They do | You do | You do |
| Brings you new customers | Yes, this is the point | No | No |
| Card payments go to | Them, then you | Your provider | Your provider |
| Time to go live | Days | Weeks, and a developer | Days |
| Apps for diners | Theirs, not yours | Built separately | Included |
| Who builds your menu | You do | You do | We do |
Most restaurants run a marketplace and direct ordering side by side. That is the sensible answer, not a contradiction: let the marketplace find you new customers, and stop paying a cut on the regulars.
Go first, and help decide what comes next.
Tekeats is signing its first restaurants now. Two things for going early.
What operators ask before signing.
Is there really no commission?
Correct. You pay a fixed monthly fee per site and nothing per order. Card payments go into your own merchant account, so we never touch the money and cannot take a share of it.
What does it cost to take a card payment?
Whatever your provider charges you. You connect your own payment account, so the rate you negotiated applies and they bill you directly. Tekeats adds nothing on top.
Is there a contract?
No. It is rolling monthly and you can cancel whenever you want. Paying for a year up front takes about a sixth off the price.
What is the setup fee for?
Building your menu, connecting your payment provider, configuring your hours and getting you live. It is £30, once, and it is not a deposit or a first month in disguise.
What happens if I go past 1,000 orders a month?
Nothing automatic, and never a charge per order. We get in touch and move you to Growth, which has no limit. If you are close to that number every month you probably want Growth anyway, for the apps.
I have three shops. What do I pay?
Your first site is full price and every branch after that is half price. Three shops on Growth monthly is £89 plus £44.50 plus £44.50, so £178 a month for all three.
What is the £149 app charge?
It covers publishing your customer app on the App Store and the Play Store: the developer accounts, the store listings, the screenshots and the review process. One charge for both stores, paid once, not every year.
Do I need Growth for one shop?
Only if you want the mobile apps, your own domain, more than one site, the marketing tools, or the Tekeats branding removed. Otherwise Starter has everything a single site needs to take direct orders on the web.
Will the price go up?
List prices may. We tell you before yours does, and you are on a rolling month, so you are never locked into a number you did not agree to.
Does Tekeats handle VAT?
Not yet. You can add VAT as a named charge on orders, but Tekeats does not calculate it, break it out, or show it on receipts. Tell us at the demo if that matters to your bookkeeping.
See it running on your own menu.
