What restaurant owners ask us.

What does Tekeats cost?

£59 a month for Starter or £89 for Growth, per site, ex VAT, plus 2.5% of card orders. Cash orders cost nothing extra. Setup is normally £250 and free for our first 10 restaurants.

What happens to my marketplace orders?

Nothing changes there. Keep Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo, and give your regulars your own link as well. Their repeat orders then cost 2.5% on card instead of a marketplace cut. Most restaurants run both.

Do I need new hardware?

No. The dashboard runs in a browser on anything you already have. On Growth, the merchant app runs on an Android tablet or phone and prints dockets to a standard receipt printer.

Who types in my menu?

We do. Send us your current menu in whatever form you have it and we will build it before you go live.

I have two shops. Does that work?

Yes, on the Growth plan. Each branch gets its own menu, prices, hours and payment account, and you switch between them from one login. Your first site is full price and every branch after that is half price.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on the Growth plan. We will give you the DNS records to point at us.

Is there a contract?

No. It is rolling monthly and you can cancel whenever you want. Paying for a year up front takes about a sixth off the price.

Which card providers can I use?

You connect your own payment account, whichever provider you already use. You keep the relationship and their rates apply. Our 2.5% of card orders comes on a separate monthly invoice.

Does Tekeats handle VAT?

Not yet. You can add VAT as a named charge on orders, but Tekeats does not calculate or break out VAT for you, and it does not appear on receipts. If that matters to your bookkeeping, tell us at the demo.
